How do you approach shooting weddings?
I like to think that I apply my fine art background and and my love for documentary photography to beautifully capture the day while also finding the candid, special moments. I believe deeply that this day is not about me and the shots I need to get – it’s about you – the celebration that you want to have and helping you remember it long after the day has passed. Logistically, I like to communicate with my couples (and their planners!) and have a clear sense of the day ahead of time so that you can relax and enjoy it all in the moment.
I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade because I believe it’s one of the most amazing ways to work. It’s not lost on me that I’m present for one of the most important days of people’s lives, and that I’m often alongside
